# Using Track Mode

In Track mode, the autopilot maintains a track between waypoints created on a navigation system. The autopilot receives any course changes to keep your boat on track. To operate in Track mode, the tiller pilot must receive APB information from either:

* OpenCPN,
* AVNav, or
* any navigation system transmitting NMEA 0183 APB messages.

### Enter into Track mode

When Autopilot receives a track, displays TRACK AVAILABLE message and Next CTS points to the next Waypoint. In this situation, Track Mode is available.

#### Select Next Waypoint

In Track mode, when boat has arrived to the active Waypoint, Navigation system will start sending information related to the next Waypoint in the track.

When Autopilot receives next Waypoint information , displays NEW WP message and Next CTS points to the next Waypoint in the track.

In this situation, user has to Confirm Turn to continue in Track Mode.

In Virtuino App,

* When NEW WP is displayed, Press Next Course button at Main page to accept new CTS.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://spascual90.gitbook.io/fenix-autopilot/using-fenix-tiller-pilot/using-track-mode.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
